2019 Domestique

Tasting Notes:
Ease into the slipstream with our Domestique as this classic Rhone-style blend shows the best of each varietal. Aromas of ripe currant lead the pack, racing into a lush dark fruit core, followed closely by earthy notes, stretching into a long spicy finish.
Winemaker’s Notes:
We typically blend our Domestique to be heavy in Syrah, this being the "biggest red" of the three. Our 2019 vintage produced Grenache and Mourvedre with substantial body and tannin structure as well, allowing this vintage to stand shoulder to shoulder with any of our "Big Reds".
Food Pairing Ideas:
Cassoulet, Rotisserie chicken, Rosemary lamb chops
