Our 2019 Syrah opens with a full spectrum of aromas reminiscent of rosemary, black plum and dried citrus, that unwinds further to present notes of blueberry pie and vanilla bean on the palate, with supple tannins on the finish.
Winemaker’s Notes:
Our 2019 Syrah is the first vintage to see a small amount of Viognier. The practice of adding Viognier to Syrah was made famous in Côte-Rôtie, in the Rhône Valley of France. The Viognier balances the earthiness of Syrah with light, airy top notes. The 2019 vintage opens with a full spectrum of aromas reminiscent of rosemary, black plum and lilac, that unwinds further to present notes of blueberry pie and vanilla bean on the palate, with supple tannins on the finish.
Food Pairing Ideas:
