Tasting Notes:
The 2021 Unforgiving bursts forth with lively aromas of ripe blackberries, evoking the freshness of sun-warmed berries just picked from the vine. This youthful vintage carries a brighter character, with vibrant berry notes that are complemented by subtle hints of fresh herbs, adding a refreshing layer of complexity. On the palate, the wine is energetic and engaging, with the richness of the fruit balanced by a touch of sweet pastry and a gentle kiss of toasted oak. The finish is smooth and satisfying, leaving a lasting impression of its well-rounded structure and inviting warmth.
Winemaker’s Notes:
Our San Ignacio vineyard was planted about 7 miles east of our estate, with all Bordeaux varietals. Named "Unforgiving" due to the amount of care, and attention this vineyard requires to produce a crop, this Bordeaux style blend showcases ample concentration, body, and age worthiness as a delicious reward for all of the hard work.
