Tasting Notes:

Our 2022 Reserve Primitivo beautifully showcases the poise and structure associated with this elegant cousin to Zinfandel. Seductive notes of sweet cinnamon, maple and chocolate swirl together, awakening the senses as the palate flows into a dense red fruit core with powerful, yet graceful, tannins that ride across a long finish. This is a big wine that needs big food!

Winemaker’s Notes:

We selected the best Primitivo barrels from our Goldreyer lot to lay the foundation for this wine, and added a small amount of fruit from our Waxman vineyard to further elevate the body and tannin.
