Tasting Notes:

Deep violet in color, our 2021 Reserve Malbec opens with an inviting perfume of blackberry, cinnamon and vanilla bean, delving into a darker core of grilled black plum and dark roasted coffee beans, with toasted oak framing the present yet forgiving tannins riding across an extended finish.

Winemaker’s Notes:

The Waxman vineyard has become the vineyard we look to when blending our Reserve Malbec.  The higher elevation and sloped hills make for an excellent expression of our Temecula terrior, giving the wine depth and concentration, without overpowering the nuances that bring the complexity we expect in this wine.
